You will be given a detailed overview of how Orkney life has changed through the ages and why the stone monuments of the Ring of Brodgar and Standing Stones of Stenness were built. Visit and marvel at the Neolithic settlement of Skara Brae from the 3rd Millennium BC and soak up the natural beauty of the coastal scenery around the beautiful Orkney Islands.

Visit this magnificent 5000 year old Neolithic Cathedral Complex. Meet the team of Archaeologists and discover the mysteries surround this amazing ancient Orkney site. - Ring of Brodgar – Henge site. Visit this large circle of Neolithic Stones dating back to 3000 BC. Originally there were 60 stones, 27 remain today. Great place to spot Curlews, Oyster Catchers and Sky Larks.
- Yesnaby – Drive to Yesnaby to see the most stunning views over the North Atlantic. Spot Great Skuas and Puffins. Try and spot the very rare Primula Scotica only found on Orkney.
- Skara Brae – 3100 BC. See great presentations, the Neolithic House mock-up and guided walk to and around the Neolithic Village. Amazing views of the Atlantic.
- Maeshowe –Guided tour of a 5000 year old Stone Age chambered tomb. The Vikings raided the tomb and left a number of runic writings
- Broch of Gurness – Guided tour around this amazing Iron Age settlement. Broch’s are unique to Scotland and this particular Broch was large with deep ditches and ramparts.
- St Magnus Cathedral – Guided tour around Britain’s most northerly Cathedral. Learn about its powerful Viking and Medieval past.
